We are recruiting for a HenPower Creative Engagement Associate - Southend
Interview date – February 4, 2016
Equal Arts is looking for people with project coordinator skills and experience of working in older people’s care settings.
Our HenPower project helps older people look after hens as a healthy and sociable activity whilst delivering a creative programme which could include arts, crafts, gardening, music or movement.
The Creative Engagement Associate (CEA) will coordinate a cluster of HenPower projects in Southend-on-Sea. The CEA will work with the management and activity coordinator in each care home over an initial six-month period to establish the project.
As well as delivering creative sessions the CEA will be expected to coordinate programme development.
Equal Arts will support the successful candidates who will work closely with the HenPower Project Lead and eventually with other Creative Engagement Associates in neighbouring clusters.
We’d like to find people with coordination skills who feel confident in leading a project with remote support.
The successful candidates will enjoy working with older people, have experience in delivering creative activities and preferably have some experience or interest in chickens and hen husbandry.
