Have you spotted the start of the famous logo going up on the Tyne Bridge?
It's a sign that the hugely popular Simplyhealth Great North Run is nearly here.
This year for the first time we have our very own team of would-be runners testing their abilities to raise funds to bring creativity to people living with dementia and in care.
Introducing the Equal Arts Great North Run team!
Liv, Poppy, Jonathan, Aimee and Sherry will be among the thousands running for causes close to them.
They’ve dusted off their trainers and are taking on the 13.1 miles across the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle to South Shields.
None of them would claim to be ‘avid’ runners but all are committed to raising awareness and funds to bring creativity to older people living with dementia and in care.
From all of us at Equal Arts – Thank You!
