This summer author Tolu A Akinyemi is supporting Equal Arts at our creative workshops and with donations from the sale of his book Dead Lions Don't Roar.

The book is a collection of inspiring and motivating modern day verses.  Addressing many issues close to home and also many taboo subjects, the poetry is reflective of today’s struggles and highlights the ideas for a positive future.

Particularly the book's two main poems Dead Lion’s Don’t Roar and Growing Old resonate with our charity.

Tolu will be donating a percentage of sales from his book to our work as well as joining us for various creative workshops over the coming months.
