Years of positive work supporting older people through creativity sees Equal Arts share knowledge overseas.
For more than three decades we’ve been working to improve the wellbeing of older people in the North East by bringing creativity into care.
This month our co-director Alice Thwaite is sharing that knowledge and expertise honed in the region with peers in South Korea as part of the Creative Ageing Conference 2017.
The event, staged in partnership by The British Council, The Baring Foundation and Korea Arts & Culture Education Service, brings together experts in their field to reflect on the role of arts within the fast-ageing societies of the UK and Korea.
