"Working collaboratively with Equal Arts has given RCMG (Research Centre for Museums and Galleries, University Leicester) a nuanced understanding of effective ways of working with older people, understanding older people primarily as people who need to be valued, have a purpose, be connected and to have access, but importantly this is framed by an understanding that many older people lives are shaped by loss and isolation.

"Equal Arts' creative thinking and practice has provided challenge and stimulus to an area of museum practice and use of natural heritage collections which, as yet is in its early stages of development.
